About
Oh, Finland! is a newspaper about Finland, published in English and Russian. It covers the news and carries first-hand guides to immigration, business, housing, healthcare, and everyday life here.
Who writes this
Everything on this site is written by Andrei Zamiralov. The guides come from doing these things personally in Finland — registering a company, dealing with Kela and Migri, renting a flat, opening a bank account — not from summarising other websites.
Where a claim depends on a rule, a fee, or a deadline, it links to the authority that sets it. Where it depends on experience, it says so.
How this is published
Every article is written in English first. The Russian version is a translation of that English original, so the two never drift apart: the same article, the same address, the same facts in both languages.
If a Russian page ever looks out of date next to its English counterpart, the English one is the source of truth.
